Our History

Wagner’s Village Inn was opened in 1968 by Ralph and Helen Wagner using a family recipe that dates back to the early 1900s. 120 years later, using the original 14” cast iron skillets, we fry chicken the old-fashioned way, in hog fat. After Ralph and Helen owned Wagner's until 1996, their daughter, Ginger Saccomando, carried on the family tradition and operated the restaurant until 2020, when her son and current owner, Dan Saccomando, took over.
